Operations Technicians
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and optimal operation of major processing equipment (e.g. Furnaces, towers, reactors, compressors, feed and product storages) as well as pipeline distribution systems (e.g. Marine terminal), both in the field and via the plant’s DCS
- Perform unit start-up/shut-down and plant turnaround activities
- Draft standard operating procedures for the unit
- Perform structured rounds (field/DCS console) and troubleshooting, as well as initiate corrective actions to ensure that the equipment and plant operations are within safe operating limits
- Resolve operational issues and provide support for the Technical and Mechanical teams
- A good Diploma/Technical Certificate in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Process Technology
- Prior work experience in a refinery or petrochemical plant is advantageous
- Steam cracker field/DCS Console or Aromatics plant experience is an advantage
- An effective team player with good communication skills
- Able to perform shift duties

Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning for shutdown activities
- Draw up schedules for maintenance or project start-up activities
- Update schedules according to the plant’s actual work progress
- Balance the available resources with maintenance activities and highlight all constraints, conflicts and critical paths
- Prepare schedule compliance and other stewardship reports
- A recognized Degree/Diploma in a Science or Technical discipline, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a Maintenance/Project Engineer in the petrochemical industry or a refinery
- Highly proficient in SAP, Microsoft Project and Primavera
- Knowledge of multi-craft activities carried out during plant maintenance or start-up activities
- Safety conscious with strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities
Analyzer Technicians
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Commission, maintain and operate process analyzers
- Provide timely statuses of all equipment at analyzer shelters and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on all equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Develop calibration and maintenance procedures and provide inputs for the continuous improvement of process analyzers
- A good Diploma/Nitec in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the maintenance and repair of process analyzers in petrochemical plants; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Must be prepared to work on rotating shifts during shutdown and start-up activities
- Computer literacy is advantageous
- An effective team player with good communication skills
