HSE ENGINEER / HSE COORDINATOR

Requirements:

• Degree in Industrial / Occupational (Public Health) / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from reputable university.
• Having at least 3 years experience in high volume manufacturing company as HSE Engineer / HSE Coordinator.
• Having AK3 Certification, Internal Auditor OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004. Having IRCA Certification will be an advantage.
• Having knowledge and able to assess HIRAC.
• Having knowledge and able to maintain UKL-UPL.
• Strong leadership and having experience in managing and controlling Health and Safety implementation.
• Good command in English, and knowledge in French is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skill with ability to work as part of team, fast learning and positive attitude.
• Willing to stay in BATAM.

Requirements:

• Preferred age 25 to 35 years old
• Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with min GPA 3,00)

Our client is in search of a qualified and experienced Product Stewardship Specialist whose basic function will be to ensure that chemicals bought, used and sold are safe and that products meet the Product Stewardship regulations relevant for their applications in the client sales territory. The role is to work as a specialist across all locations covering Product Stewardship regulations in cooperation with parent company Production Stewardship organization; The incumbent will develop and maintain the chemical control process of client's processes and support systems; and act as the Technical Lead for the new EC REACH Regulations (EC1907/2007). Responsible for successful implementation of Product Stewardship activities

Maintain and develop the integrated management systems for Product information and documentation

Manage and administrate Product Compliance Statements

Manage product documentation development, revision and issuance and queries relating to: Safety Data Sheets (SDS); Food contact statements; Drinking water statements; Medical statements and Composition statements

Monitor applicable legislation related to products and their applications and take action where necessary to secure business objectives

Follow-up and take action on specific worldwide environment and health issues relating to products.

Reply to technical queries and demands raised by customers through Marketing Group.

Support internal communication/consultation and impact on product strategy

Perform HSE checks for product development projects according to Innovation Process

Act as consultant to Business Units in case of contaminations or major claims

Manage interface of new plants product grades into existing product stewardship processes

Manage all technical aspects relating to REACH Regulations on behalf of company, interfacing with parent company's representative

Requirements:

Ideal candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in scientific specialization including chemistry, PLUS at least 5 years experience in a relevant field preferably within the petrochemical / chemical industry.

Must be knowledgeable of Far Eastern legislation related to plastic products.

Must be fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are a benefit

Good knowledge of applicable regulations & standards related to Chemical Safety and Product Stewardship

Good command in MS office and SAP

Good communication and presentation skills
